We are seeking a highly skilled Project Planning and Execution Coordinator to join our team at Populous. As a coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting project managers in crafting and updating project plans utilizing Deltek Vision.

The primary activity of this role will involve identifying scope, scheduling, and staffing of design projects. You will also assist in the preparation of proposals using project planning data and other planning tools, as well as manage client and consultant invoicing and contractual tasks.

About the Role:

  • Assist project managers in developing and maintaining project plans within Deltek Vision.
  • Oversee project plans and make necessary adjustments in response to any issues or changes.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals by leveraging project plan data.
  • Track proposal approvals and update project plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with project accountants and managers to ensure timely invoice submission and tracking.
  • Monitor project expenses within Deltek Vision and identify discrepancies compared to planned budgets.
  • Compile and distribute project financial reports to project managers and principals.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, project management, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in the AEC industry.
  • Proficiency in Deltek Vision is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus.
  • Experience with Power BI is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated organizational and multitasking abilities.
