About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Advanced Rigging: Execute complex sail configurations, performance enhancements, and custom rigging solutions.
  • Rigging Expertise: Provide expert-level knowledge in rigging techniques, components, materials, and technologies.
  • Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect and maintain boat rigging components to ensure they are in peak condition and perform complex repairs or replacements.
  • Rig Tuning: Conduct intricate rig tuning to optimize boat performance.
  • Custom Rigging: Collaborate with customers to design and implement custom rigging solutions.
  • Sail Handling Mastery: Demonstrate mastery in sail handling, including advanced sail hoisting, trimming, and sail shape adjustments.
  • Safety Oversight: Supervise and enforce safety protocols to ensure the highest level of safety standards in rigging and sailing.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical training or certification in rigging or marine systems is required.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in boat rigging, sailing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge: Profound knowledge of boat rigging components, sailing hardware, and advanced sailing terminology.
