As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the development of scope for capital projects, selecting and managing outside design consultants, and executing the permit, advertisement, and bidding process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scope Development: Develop scope for capital projects, including inspection, assessment, and preliminary design preparation of formal scope determination reports.
  • Design Consultant Management: Select and manage outside design consultants, including preparing RFPs, approving design proposals, and reviewing technical documentation.
  • Permit and Bidding Process: Execute the permit, advertisement, and bidding process, including preparing bid specifications and meeting with prospective contractors.
  • Design Support: Provide design support during construction, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited institution.
  • Experience: A minimum of seven years of professional experience in residential, commercial, and public buildings and facilities' design, construction, and assessment.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of building codes, proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture 2020 or higher, and Microsoft Office.
  • Communication: Ability to write technical documents for experienced professionals and communicate technical concepts to non-industry professionals.
