Job Summary
The Registered Nurse PACU is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role involves assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs upon admission to the PACU.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the recovery process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with a completion deadline within 5 years of hire date.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • A minimum of one year of hospital nursing experience, preferably in the PACU or a related specialty.
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
