Epic Travel Staffing is currently seeking a skilled travel nurse RN specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Position Overview
  • Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Duration: 17 weeks
  • Hours: 48 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a critical care setting.
  • Work independently in a 20-bed PICU or larger.
  • Participate in a rotating or straight night shift schedule.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current Washington RN License.
  • A minimum of 2 years of PICU experience.
  • Certifications: BLS, PALS; CCRN preferred.
  • Previous charge nurse experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
  • Experience in a teaching hospital is a plus.

Additional Information:

  • Travelers are expected to work weekends and may have the opportunity to float within the facility.
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
  • Local candidates may also be considered.
  • Guaranteed hours with potential for precepting.
