About the Job

This role involves ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies while overseeing feed inventories, maintaining cleanliness, and following standard operating procedures for equipment operation.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner consistent with company policies, procedures, and safety training.
  • Monitor ingredient and finished feed inventories, as required.
  • Maintain good housekeeping consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in assigned areas.
  • Perform general labor duties as assigned by management.
  • Ensure micro-bins are filled according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collect all required samples as defined in the Quality Assurance Manual and SOPs.
  • Perform all required testing as outlined in the SOPs.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
  • Monitor batching, pelleting, fat application, grinding, and routing processes.
  • Input information into computer automation system accurately.
  • Operate equipment, automatically or manually, via computer automation consistent with procedures.
  • Promote safe work practices through example and maintain a lost work day incident rate equal to zero.
Requirements
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Previous experience with forklifts is preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and work in diverse environmental conditions.
