Job Description:

The Registered Dietician will be responsible for evaluating and assessing program participants, developing and implementing personalized diet plans, interpreting and verifying nutrition orders, educating participants and team members, providing in-service training, documenting progress, coordinating recipe development, and communicating with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluate and assess program participants on an ongoing basis and develop tailored diet plans that meet their nutritional needs.
  2. Interpret and verify nutrition orders to ensure accurate meal planning.
  3. Educate program participants, team members, and provide in-service training to enhance knowledge and skills.
  4. Complete all required documentation in accordance with program regulations.
  5. Coordinate the preparation of a comprehensive recipe book that meets the dietary needs of program participants.
  6. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding individual program plans (IPPs) and individual education plans (IEPs).
  7. Assist with departmental maintenance and supplies to ensure a smooth operational environment.
  8. Participate in treatment team activities, including meetings, trainings, and committees, to contribute to the overall care and well-being of program participants.
