As an OSP Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our infrastructure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Job SummaryThe OSP Inspector is responsible for inspecting and verifying the accuracy of cable installations, ensuring compliance with OSHA/State/Local Safety Standards and company guidelines. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect cable installations to ensure compliance with design plans and safety standards
- Identify and record deviations from engineered plans, including units placed and pertinent notes related to construction events
- Communicate verbally and in writing with subcontractors, providing guidance on engineered construction prints and corrective actions
- Effectively communicate with less-experienced inspectors, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 years of experience in cable installation or a related field preferred
- Specialized training in construction experience or OSP engineering beneficial
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with internal and external customers
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions, with a strong command of RUS construction standards
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
