POSITION: Fulfillment Warehouse Worker

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Department: Fulfillment

Reports to: Production Manager

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process orders efficiently to satisfy vendor and customer demands.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations by unloading deliveries, verifying incoming goods, and reconciling Purchase Orders with Sales Orders.
  • Interpret Customer Orders, Work Orders, Shipping Orders, or Requisitions to identify items for movement, collection, or distribution.
  • Transport materials and products from receiving or storage locations to shipping or other designated areas.
  • Fulfill Requisitions, Work Orders, or Material Requests and distribute them to shipping or designated storage areas.
  • Assist in conducting physical inventory counts.
  • Utilize appropriate safety gear at all times.
  • May perform facility maintenance tasks as required.
  • Maintain organization within the warehouse and workspaces consistently.
  • Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, and mopping as necessary.
  • Be prepared to undertake additional warehouse responsibilities as directed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.
Required Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting safety regulations, operational guidelines, and procedural manuals.
  • Capable of performing basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • HazMat training is advantageous.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); three months or more of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
  • Requires the ability to lift heavy items.
  • Involves standing for 8-10 hours daily.
  • Requires kneeling or squatting for 4-6 hours each day.
  • Involves bending or stooping for 4-6 hours daily.
  • Requires the use of a Pallet Jack to handle palletized containers, which can weigh approximately 2,000 lbs.
  • Involves lifting and carrying objects weighing between 36-55 lbs. for 2-4 hours daily.
  • Requires regular lifting and carrying of items weighing less than 15 lbs. for 8-10 hours daily.
Work Environment:
  • Work is conducted in an outdoor warehouse setting.
  • Exposure to various elements including noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils, and weather conditions.
