Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electronics Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for configuring and testing electronic assemblies and systems, troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuit board assemblies, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and test electronic assemblies and systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuit board assemblies to component level.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in a similar technical position.
  • ASEET or equivalent training is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of electrical units of measurement, including volt, ohm, ampere, hertz, etc.
  • Manual dexterity and skill sufficient to assemble and repair printed circuit assemblies (SMT & through-hole).
  • Working knowledge of AC and DC electronic circuits.
  • Familiarity with test equipment used in product development, such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and meters.
  • Familiarity with electrical and electronic components.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through written reports and presentations.
