AVANT is on the lookout for a dedicated and proactive Stormwater Maintenance Technician to become part of our enthusiastic team. In this position, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities associated with stormwater management, including excavation, pipe installation, and operating specialized vehicles.

The ideal candidate will possess physical stamina, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct stormwater maintenance tasks such as ditching and pipe laying.
  • Operate flush trucks and understand the functionality of catch basins.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Possession of an unrestricted class C (or higher) driver's license in North Carolina or the capability to convert an out-of-state license.
  • Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Proven background in manual labor.
  • Strong emphasis on punctuality and attendance.
Preferred Skills:
  • Class C driver's license.
  • Experience in cleaning storm piping and managing frames and covers.
  • Familiarity with laying blocks and bricks for manhole and stormwater structures.
