Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our Banquet Operations team at Spooky Nook Sports. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the preparation, production, and presentation of high-quality dishes for our banquets and concessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of kitchen staff to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus for banquets and concessions, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Events team to plan and execute special event menus.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and requisitioning of food and supplies to meet the needs of our events.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in the culinary industry as a Chef, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Minimum 2+ years' supervisory experience, with a strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Dependable transportation to and from work.
  • Language skills: Fluent knowledge of the English language, including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication.
  • Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position, with any reasonable accommodations as necessary.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree from a Culinary Arts program.
  • Ability to distinguish ingredients by taste, smell, or sight.
  • Highly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Guest-focused/service-oriented, with the ability to see the big picture and impact on the company.
