We are seeking a skilled Sonographer I to join our team at North Suburban Medical Center. As a Sonographer I, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

About the Role

Under the supervision of the Radiologist and the lead technologist, you will perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric. Your responsibilities will include maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills, providing quality diagnostic results, and being knowledgeable and competent in cleaning and high-level disinfection of ultrasound probes and other equipment as necessary.

Requirements
  • Completion of an AMA-approved Ultrasound School training program or an armed services program that qualifies for approval
  • Maintains annual competency for cleaning and high-level disinfection of ultrasound probes
  • Prefer 1 year recent hospital Ultrasound experience
  • Skills commensurate with formal training requirements
