Perioperative Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team at Forefront Dermatology. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide critical support to our surgeons and anesthesia providers during procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist the surgical team in preparing for procedures, including setting up equipment and supplies.
- Provide intraoperative nurse charting, including time in and time out of surgery.
- Circulate and assemble equipment, devices, and supplies as needed.
- Administer conscious sedation medications and other IV medications as ordered.
- Document procedural processes and dispense medications as directed.
- Provide work guidance, support, and instruction to peers and other staff members.
- Monitor clinical activities related to patient procedures and ensure a safe environment.
- LPN degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- State-specific LPN license required.
- 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity preferred.
- Maintains BLS Certification.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate standard office equipment.
