We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Indiana University Health. As an OR Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment to ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to advance patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Participate in decision-making, teaching, and mentoring to enhance professional growth and development
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty
