We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely test results to support patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of waived, moderately complex, and highly complex tests on patients of all ages.
- Apply principles, theories, and techniques according to Laboratory Practices and Procedures to produce accurate test results in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology.
- High school graduate or equivalent and graduate from a one year medical laboratory or clinical laboratory training program approved by the ABHES, CAHEA, or other organization approved by HHS.
- Certification with American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or successful completion of certification within 12 months of employment.
