Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will be responsible for troubleshooting service issues, ensuring the inside and exterior of our properties meet company standards and applicable laws, responding to maintenance tickets, following up with residents and office staff on work status, and working in an on-call rotation that requires nights and weekend flexibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A valid driver's license, good driving record, personal vehicle, and auto insurance;
- Lives within a 30-minute commute of the property;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- One or more years of experience in all facets of apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and small appliance repair;
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen;
- HVAC/EPA/CFC certification and/or boiler's license a plus.
- $20-$23 per hour;
- 50% rent discount at the community where you work;
- Property staff shared renewal commissions – paid monthly;
- $300 Morgan Essentials – paid quarterly;
- On-call appreciation, $15/day for holding the on-call phone;
