Job Title: CAD Supervisor

InProduction is a leading provider of temporary seating, staging, structures, and scenic production for the U.S. live events industry. As a CAD Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project schedules to ensure timely completion and implementation.
  • Review and verify drawings in various design modeling software formats.
  • Produce specifications and drawings that meet written instructions, calculations, and equations.
  • Ensure overall CAD system reliability and security of intellectual property.
  • Coordinate with designers, technicians, and other personnel to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages.
  • Maintain schedules for each project deadline to ensure that project deadlines are met.
Requirements:
  • Solid project management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and 3D solid modeling.
  • Proven proficiency using AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in PC-based computing, Microsoft Office, and use of Windows OS.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Solid work ethic and self-starter attitude.
  • Entertainment and Events Industry experience preferred.
Education Requirements:
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Associates or technical degree in drafting, architectural design, or similar education is preferred.
Work Environment:

This is a largely sedentary role; however, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.
