LPN - Sleep Medicine Clinic - Days - Mount Nittany

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at the Sleep Medicine Clinic in Mount Nittany. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our providers in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for examination and administer medications as directed by the provider.
- Assist the provider with procedures and perform various tests to support patient care.
- Engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care and actively participate as a member of the healthcare team.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
- One year of medical office and patient care experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical practice and patient care, medical equipment and instruments, and examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.
- Knowledge of physician office procedures and medical terminology.
- Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions.
- Ability to assist in performing a variety of treatments and procedures, taking vital signs, and recording and maintaining test results.
- Ability to record data accurately using a computer.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Pennsylvania Practical Nursing License.
- BLS certification required.
- Normal position urgency.
- Mon - Fri 8 hour days.
- Must be currently active.
- 1 year of experience required.
- No guaranteed hours.
- Nursing specialty.
- LPN sub specialty.
- BLS/BCLS certification.
- No bilingual requirement.
- Meditech EMR used.
- No holiday coverage required.
