Position Overview:
The Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences at Texas A&M University is seeking applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in the field of Radiology. This role is open to candidates at the rank of clinical assistant professor, clinical associate professor, or full clinical professor.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will allocate approximately 60-70% of their time to clinical duties, which include:
1. Engaging in clinical teaching and providing patient care.
2. Delivering diagnostic imaging services for a diverse range of patients at the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, covering both small and large animals.
3. Participating in emergency imaging support alongside fellow faculty members.

Teaching and Mentorship:
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the faculty member will be expected to:
1. Dedicate 10-15% of their time to didactic teaching.
2. Contribute 10-15% to scholarly activities.
3. Engage in 10% of academic service.
The faculty member will develop and present well-structured lectures and laboratory materials, ensuring an innovative approach to teaching. They will also mentor fourth-year students, interns, and residents.

Collaboration and Support:
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative environment alongside six faculty radiologists and seven radiology residents. The Radiology Service is bolstered by a skilled team of technicians across all service areas.

Facilities and Equipment:
The department is equipped with advanced imaging technology, including:
- 3-tesla MRI
- 40-slice CT
- Ultrasonography
- Fluoroscopy
- Scintigraphy
- Digital radiography

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a DVM or equivalent degree and be eligible for a Texas state veterinary license. Board certification by the American College of Veterinary Radiology or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging is required, with certification expected within three years for non-certified applicants. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to a collaborative work environment.
