Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Agility Health and Rehabilitation. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Environmental Services Director, adhering to department policies and procedures.
  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing, and mopping.
  • Operate environmental services equipment, such as vacuums, floor cleaners, buffers, shampooers, washer, dryer, etc.
  • Perform terminal cleaning procedures of resident rooms and prepare rooms for new admissions, following isolation procedures in isolation rooms.
  • Maintain good interpersonal relationships with facility staff, healthcare professionals, and vendors to provide the best level of care for residents.
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients, demonstrating dependable, regular attendance, and the ability to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
