Join our innovative Global Information Security team, dedicated to protecting Bank of America's information systems, sensitive data, and customer information. As a Lead Cloud Security Risk Specialist, you will contribute to the advancement and modernization of our Cyber Threat Defense Controls, focusing on Network, Malware, and Intrusion Defense, as well as Cyber Threat Intelligence, Simulation, and Replication. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategies, manage operational playbooks, monitor compliance, and assist with regulatory and audit inquiries.

In this role, you will leverage strong technical and business insights to promote secure, risk-based practices across all business lines, ensuring the protection of our customers, partners, and employees.


Key Responsibilities:

As a key contributor, your responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and implementing Cyber Threat Defense protocols to enhance security, ensure compliance, and automate governance across applications and infrastructure.
  • Developing and managing policies, standards, processes, and playbooks to meet business, security, regulatory, legal, and compliance objectives.
  • Creating business requirements to drive innovation in internal and public cloud integration of Cyber Threat Defense practices.
  • Evaluating and implementing solutions to enhance access controls through automation, data enrichment, and improved mechanisms, ensuring organizational protection.
  • Supporting initiatives to modernize practices, processes, and related technologies.
  • Collaborating across organizational units and management levels, utilizing technical and business expertise to uphold secure practices across all defined policies.

Required Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in advising strategies related to Network, Intrusion, and Malware Defense in both on-premises and public cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS).
  • Results-oriented individuals who are business-focused and adept at interfacing across multiple organizational units at various management levels.
  • Knowledge and experience in information security topics, including the design, development, testing, implementation, and governance of security practices and solutions.
  • Motivated, adaptable learners with a comprehensive understanding of various technology applications, platforms, and tools.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues while minimizing negative impacts and risks to business operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Proficient in influencing partners, senior management, peers, and subordinates through an inclusive approach that recognizes their expertise.
