Project Oversight:
Accountable for the design and administration of site-development engineering projects, ensuring thoroughness and precision in design efforts.


Responsible for coordinating various design components to achieve project objectives, which may involve conventional plans, surveys, investigations, structures, and equipment.


Prepare detailed project documentation, including plans, specifications, and engineering estimates, while systematically collecting and organizing project data.

Evaluate, select, and modify standard techniques, procedures, and criteria for project assignments; identify and resolve challenges.

Manage multiple projects of moderate to significant scale, utilizing time effectively to adhere to budget constraints and ensure timely delivery.

Develop proposals that encompass bid documents, project reports, studies, and other essential documentation.

Participate in project meetings, presenting specific elements of engineering assignments/projects.

Coordinate technical and administrative tasks with other internal departments and disciplines involved in the project.

Ensure compliance of project engineering activities with company and contract standards, supporting overall project schedule, scope, and budget.


Interpret contract specifications and address conflicts with contractors regarding specifications, workmanship, material quality, and related issues.

Maintain a record of project milestones and ongoing issues.

Prepare monthly project status updates and change orders.

Engage in client and contractor meetings, addressing client, engineering, and management project concerns.

Formulate project scopes, tasks, budgets, and timelines.

Business Development:
Support marketing and business development initiatives.

Attend industry events.

Identify potential clients.

Collaborate with clients, officials, contractors, and other project team members.

Draft scope and fee proposals for evaluation.

Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

7+ years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Familiarity with ICPR.

Experience with KYPipe or similar software.

Competence in MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff, management, and clients.

Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet critical deadlines, and follow up on assignments with minimal oversight.

Capacity to maintain confidentiality and safeguard privileged client information and documents.

Knowledge of proper English usage, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary.

Licensure:
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Florida Professional Engineer licensure with the ability to obtain licensure in other states.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position includes supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:
Work typically occurs in a clean, comfortable office environment. Site visits may occasionally occur in outdoor settings. Evening and weekend work may be required on short notice.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. The employee frequently sits for extended periods.

The employee may occasionally stand, walk, use hands for various tasks, reach with hands and arms, and perform other physical activities.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Personal Protective Equipment Requirements:


As dictated by client site protocols, candidates will be required to use appropriate personal protective equipment, including but not limited to gloves, hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses, and any additional tools necessary for the tasks at hand.
