We are seeking a skilled Medication Aide to join our team at Benefis Health System. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients/residents by administering medications under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Key Responsibilities- Administer oral, inhalation, and topical medications to patients/residents, monitoring for drug reactions and reporting any issues to the nursing staff.
- Monitor vital signs, calculate medication dosages, and maintain the medication room dispensing system.
- Record medication administration in the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
- Current Curriculum Requirement of 4000 hours in a Long-Term Care Facility.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle changing situations.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
