RN Anesthetist CRNA-Surgery

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract with part-time and full-time shifts available. The CRNA will work in a hospital setting, providing anesthesia for general and orthopedic procedures, as well as some eye surgeries.

No OB, head, or heart cases are expected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia for various general procedures, including orthopedic and eye surgeries.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort by working collaboratively with the surgical team.
  • Provide anesthesia support for scheduled procedures, including pre-operative assessments, anesthesia administration, and post-operative care.
  • Typically work 2 shifts per week, with an average of 8-10 hours per day.
Qualifications
  • Required Certifications:
    • NBCRNA certification.
    • BLS certification.
  • State Licensure: Active Pennsylvania CRNA license is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience, including general anesthesia, orthopedic, and eye surgeries.
  • Charting System: Experience with Cerner EMR system is necessary.
Schedule & Flexibility
  • Shifts: Day shifts, typically 8 hours, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Part-Time Option: Part-time shifts are available.
  • No call required.

  • Patient Age Group: Primarily adults
  • Procedures: General surgeries, orthopedic, and eye procedures (no OB, head, or heart cases)

$120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Estimated salary range based on national averages.
