Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing patients' medical histories, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans.
  • Monitoring vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Interpreting and documenting data from advanced medical technologies.
  • Administering medications and executing treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and updating medical charts.
  • Providing guidance to unit staff regarding patient care protocols.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to report patient status and changes.
  • Communicating test results and procedures to patients and their families, addressing any inquiries.
  • Advising patients on post-discharge care, including medication management and lifestyle modifications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification.
  • 3-5 years of telemetry nursing experience in a related specialty.
  • Strong understanding of data interpretation from medical equipment.
  • Proficient in patient management systems and recordkeeping.
  • Advanced skills in medication administration and treatment execution.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
  • Thorough knowledge of healthcare best practices and recordkeeping standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and family support.
