Quality Technician Job Description

Matrix Design Group is seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality measurement systems.
  • Identify areas for improvement and drive continuous quality enhancement throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Work closely with Quality Engineers, the Testing and Validation team, and the Manufacturing team to record product robustness and identify weak points.
  • Implement necessary controls to ensure our products and services exceed customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Must possess one of the following qualifications: Certification through Quality Technology program of a community college or vocational school, Associate degree in Quality Engineering field, or 4+ years of experience in the Quality field.
  • Experience using variety of measurement devices, gauges, tools and methods.
  • Understanding of Quality Systems, Standards and Safety Regulations.
  • Experience in continuous improvement, lean concepts, or Kaizen.
  • Strong analytical, sampling plan applications, fundamental statistical methods, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Working Conditions:
  • The working conditions for this position are within a climate-controlled building. The noise levels most times are nominal.
