Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

Norman Regional Health System is a leading healthcare provider in the Oklahoma City metro area, offering an innovative cardiovascular program with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists. We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our Cath Lab team.

Job Summary

This role involves preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment in the cath lab suite. The ideal candidate will possess certification in Radiologic Technology or as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, with experience working in a procedural area. A strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership is essential for delivering excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures
  • Identify and assess patient condition
  • Establish and maintain a sterile environment
  • Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
  • Maintain downtime by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
Requirements:
  • Certification in Radiologic Technology or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
  • Previous procedural area experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training required, ACLS within 6 months of hire
