Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage patient registration and appointment scheduling through our Electronic Health Record (E.H.R) system.
  2. Collect and input patient demographic details, including primary care and pharmacy information.
  3. Verify insurance details and eligibility.
  4. Occasionally assist with phone coverage for the main operator.
  5. Prioritize and respond to patient phone messages.
  6. Handle medical record documentation as required.

Work Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Typical Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans.
  • Proficient phone and computer skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records Systems (E.H.R).
  • Knowledge of Athena software is a plus.
