Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient registration and appointment scheduling through our Electronic Health Record (E.H.R) system.
- Collect and input patient demographic details, including primary care and pharmacy information.
- Verify insurance details and eligibility.
- Occasionally assist with phone coverage for the main operator.
- Prioritize and respond to patient phone messages.
- Handle medical record documentation as required.
Work Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Typical Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans.
- Proficient phone and computer skills.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records Systems (E.H.R).
- Knowledge of Athena software is a plus.
