Lead MRI Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead MRI Technologist to join our team at a prestigious oncology specialty center in Rochester, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of MRI technologists in providing high-quality patient care and imaging services.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient and effective imaging operations.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technologists to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Current state licensing as an MRI technologist.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Injection certification preferred (willing to train).
  • Self-motivated and independent, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge necessary, with familiarity with EHR and PACS systems beneficial.
