Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to work in a fast-paced medical imaging environment. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners and X-ray machines, to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following infection control protocols and disposing of hazardous materials properly.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a medical imaging environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
