Concrete Mixer Driver

As a Ready Mix Concrete Driver for CEMEX, you will be responsible for safely operating a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to various construction sites. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Drive ready-mix truck to and from construction sites, adhering to DOT regulations and area road conditions.
• Check loads to ensure proper and safe transportation of concrete.
• Estimate slump of concrete and distinguish between proper and improper mixes.
• Verify delivery instructions with plant personnel to ensure accurate delivery to customers.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to maximize opportunities for CEMEX.
• Maintain equipment in good condition, adhering to CEMEX's safety standards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on truck equipment and supplies.
• Assist other company employees as needed.

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A or B).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Acceptable CSA and MVR records.
• High school diploma preferred.

Continuous exposure to extreme heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors. Must wear protective equipment while on the job site.

Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree. Heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds constantly.
