Position Overview:

The role of the CT Technologist involves performing critical diagnostic imaging procedures while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Valid licensure to practice in the state of Ohio.
  • Completion of an accredited radiology technology program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience in a large healthcare facility is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with the guidelines set forth by OhioHealth and ARRT.
  • Prepare patients for imaging examinations and perform routine radiographic studies.
  • Ensure radiation safety for both the patient and the operator.
  • Required attire includes charcoal grey scrubs.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR and GE CT equipment for imaging tasks.
  • Typical workload includes a set number of scans per day.
