Position Overview:
The role of the CT Technologist involves performing critical diagnostic imaging procedures while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid licensure to practice in the state of Ohio.
- Completion of an accredited radiology technology program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in a large healthcare facility is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with the guidelines set forth by OhioHealth and ARRT.
- Prepare patients for imaging examinations and perform routine radiographic studies.
- Ensure radiation safety for both the patient and the operator.
- Required attire includes charcoal grey scrubs.
- Utilize EPIC EMR and GE CT equipment for imaging tasks.
- Typical workload includes a set number of scans per day.
