Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Frontier Home Medical. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and advocating for our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient care based on given prescriptions and patient information.
  • Set up and operate respiratory devices, monitor patient physiological responses, and ensure compliance.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and resolve patient issues.
  • Adapt behavior to specific patient populations, including respect for privacy and effective communication.
  • Consult with physicians, collect documentation, and maintain patient charts.
  • Inspect and test respiratory therapy equipment, order repairs as needed.
  • Demonstrate respiratory care procedures to trainees and provide added training support to staff.
  • Advise customers on equipment sales and rentals, quoting prices and payment terms.
Requirements
  • AS or BS Degree in Respiratory Care or Registered Nursing.
  • Respiratory Therapy job experience is a plus.
  • Passion for customer service and patient care.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and patient respect.
  • Knowledge of insurance coverage criteria and respiratory equipment.
  • Problem-solving skills and computer literacy.
  • Motivational and outgoing attitude.
