Echocardiographer Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join our team at Southcoast Health. As a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiography procedures to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of various human disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of a Manager, EKG & Echocardiography or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties in Echocardiography.
• Provide health services using echocardiography procedures to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of various human disorders.
• Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary of medical ethics.
• Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree and/or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification is required.
• Two years of clinical experience is required.
• CPR certification is also required.
• Would consider recent graduate of an accredited echocardiogram program.
• Must be ARDMS or CCI registered within 6 months of employment.
