Job Title: Cardiac Technician

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Technician to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Cardiac Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Cardiac Cath Lab.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer individualized patient care through efficient knowledge and safe practice of ICVL lab procedures.
  • Assume responsibility for patient preparation, care, and monitoring before, during, and after procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement programs and inventory control.
  • Assist the physician during the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider Certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Maintains RCVT certification requirements
  • Additional certifications and experience may be required based on departmental needs
