Audubon is actively looking for a Senior Project Engineer to enhance our team. The Senior Project Engineer will oversee the comprehensive direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of designated projects, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and commitments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Exhibits outstanding communication and organizational abilities.
  • Comprehends, adheres to, and enforces Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Secures appropriate approvals on all deliverables being released, ensuring quality checks are performed.
  • Guarantees timely issuance of deliverables.
  • Prepares change order requests under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Coordinates change order estimates as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Reviews or drafts meeting minutes from project discussions.
  • Responsible for generating project status updates.
  • Manages project action items, Requests for Information, and close-out punch lists.
  • May facilitate both internal and external project meetings.
  • Coordinates Management of Change efforts.
  • Develops and modifies workflows for project support teams.
  • Encourages cross-disciplinary communication.
  • Addresses project audit deficiencies.
  • Oversees the creation and distribution of project specifications.
  • Resolves daily project challenges and emergencies.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or higher).
  • Preferred: Degree from an ABET accredited institution.
  • 7+ years of field experience, preferably in the offshore oil and gas sector or in onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing, or refining.
  • Experience as the lead engineer on medium to large multi-disciplinary projects.
  • PMP certification and PE license are recommended.
  • Basic understanding of multi-disciplinary deliverables, procurement, and construction activities.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities within a team environment.
