Compensation: $28.00 per hour, with overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours.


Job Summary:
Hutco Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to proficiently operate a Manitowoc 3900 Vicon crane within a shipyard environment. This role involves significant engagement in the repair and maintenance of marine vessels, specifically focusing on barges and boats. Candidates must possess prior experience in crane operation, as no training will be provided.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
• Operating cranes, cherry pickers, and other lifting equipment
• Conducting service and maintenance on machinery
• Refueling equipment and managing lifting gear such as cables, chains, and shackles
• Working in outdoor conditions that may involve exposure to fumes, odors, and dust.
