Unit Information:
- Unit Type: Endoscopy
- Staffing: 9 personnel including 1 charge nurse, 6 staff nurses, and 2 technicians
- EMR System: Meditech
- Shift Structure: 8-hour shifts (5 days/week) or 10-hour shifts (4 days/week)
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork. Essential qualifications include:
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Preferred Skills: Experience in Endoscopy, bedside skills, and familiarity with Meditech and Provations
Typical Procedures:
Common procedures performed in this unit include:
- EGD
- Colonoscopy
- Bronchoscopy
- ERCP
- EUS
- EBUS
- ION
Work Environment:
We value a collaborative atmosphere where team players thrive. Candidates should be prepared for weekend shifts and on-call responsibilities, with expectations of 8-10 shifts per month, including at least one weekend.
