Radiology Imaging Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating a CT scanner to obtain high-quality images for use by physicians in diagnoses and treatment of pathologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a CT scanner to perform technologist duties as required and necessary for proper departmental workflow.
  • Perform appropriate studies as determined through policy and procedure.
  • Prepare patients for exams as required and ensure patient comfort and modesty.
  • Maintain equipment through interaction with management and department service vendors.
  • Provide patient-focused customer service and ensure high-quality images for Radiology and outside departments.

Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Must be ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology.
  • CT Specialty required or obtained within one year of employment.
  • BLS or CPR required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in diagnostic radiology, experience in CT preferred.
