Join Our Team as a Tax Director

We are a leading CPA firm in the Chicago area seeking a seasoned Tax Director to join our team. As a Tax Director, you will play a key role in leading client engagements and overseeing Managers, Seniors, and Tax staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and prepare S-Corporations, Partnerships, C-Corporations, and ultra-high net worth individuals U.S. federal and multi-state income tax returns.
  • Prepare or review reconciliations and analyses for accounts as assigned and support external audits.
  • Research tax issues, review legislative developments, and assist in the analysis.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of staff and interns within our mentorship program.
  • Interact directly with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Company's US (federal) quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures.
Requirements:
  • 14+ years of public accounting experience
  • CPA is REQUIRED
  • Already a Tax Director OR have held a Sr Manager title for at least 4 years
  • Proven experience leading client engagements and overseeing Managers, Seniors, and Tax staff

  • Competitive base pay ($165k-$205k) DOE
