Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Maintenance Technician to perform general grounds and lawn maintenance, as well as basic repairs to homes owned by the community. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the community's grounds and homes are well-maintained, and providing excellent customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure homes and community areas are in good condition.
  • Execute assigned work orders and report status to the Community Manager in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospective residents, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Identify and address maintenance issues promptly, working with the Community Manager to resolve problems and prevent future issues.
  • Maintain the community's grounds, including mowing, trimming, and pruning, as well as removing trash and debris.
  • Perform snow removal and other seasonal tasks as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventories of maintenance equipment and supplies, advising the Community Manager of any needs or shortages.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
