Job Summary:

Hope Housing Of Miami Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Safety and Compliance Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, residents, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Collaborate with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety policies and procedures that promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules.
  • Conduct Safety Training and Evaluations: Review current safety training and recommend revisions, improvements, and updates to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, providing training to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Investigate Accidents and Incidents: Evaluate accident reports to identify root causes and develop strategies to prevent future incidents, conducting thorough investigations and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Review and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules, maintaining accurate records and reports as required.
  • Perform Other Related Duties: Assist with other safety-related tasks as assigned by management, providing support to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education and Training: Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
  • Experience: Previous experience in safety and work-related injury prevention, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of safety regulations, excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with management and staff, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
