Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing capabilities for our patients.
  • Effectively communicate patient progress and any concerns to supervisors and interdisciplinary team members; assist with patient scheduling and maintain accurate daily records.
  • Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
  • Educate patients' families or nursing staff on follow-up care programs.
  • Ensure that all equipment and workspaces are maintained in a safe and hygienic condition.
  • Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and all relevant professional standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, candidates should possess:

  • A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program recognized by the Education Standards Board or that meets ASHA certification criteria.
  • Fulfillment of educational and experiential prerequisites for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology as awarded by ASHA.
  • A current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  • Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • The capacity to work flexible hours, including weekends.
