Lobby Ambassador

The Lobby Ambassador/Bellperson at The Sheraton Palo Alto is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless arrivals and departures for all hotel guests.

This is a full-time, hourly position that requires working in both the lobby and baggage areas.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hospitality or customer service and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage transportation
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel amenities, services, and policies
• Provide recommendations and directions for local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options
• Handle guest requests and complaints in a prompt and professional manner
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby and baggage area
• Assist with valet parking and managing guest vehicles
• Coordinate with front desk and concierge to ensure efficient and smooth guest check-in and check-out
• Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues in the lobby and baggage areas

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 12 years of previous hospitality or customer service experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of local area and attractions preferred
• A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
