Medical Scribe Role at Summit Health
We are seeking a skilled Medical Scribe to support our healthcare team at Summit Health. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and document patient medical history and vital signs
- Accurately record physician notes and medical procedures in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Coordinate diagnostic tests and specialist referrals
- Provide exceptional patient care and communication
- Assist with basic medical procedures and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer and typing skills (minimum 45 wpm)
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and service
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
