Kitchen Tune-Up Louisville is on the lookout for a Remodeling Apprentice to support our operations in kitchen renovations and cabinetry enhancements. We provide a variety of services including cabinet restoration, painting, refacing, and custom cabinetry solutions. This is a full-time position, with hours varying based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrive punctually at the shop in company attire.
  • Adhere to instructions from the project supervisor.
  • Follow established guidelines on every project.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring daily cleanup.
  • Communicate daily with the project supervisor regarding job progress.
  • Work efficiently and effectively.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in measuring accurately.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Capability to safely operate power tools, including table saws, hand saws, routers, planers, and nail guns.
  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients.
  • Take pride in delivering quality work on the first attempt.

Preferred Skills (not mandatory):

  • Experience in cutting moldings such as base, crown, and scribe.
  • Experience in cabinet refacing.
  • Experience in cabinet painting.
  • Experience in kitchen renovations.
