Olo is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead the Product Finance function. As a key member of the FP&A team, you will partner with the COO and GMs of our Order, Pay, and Engage product lines to drive strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Executive leadership to gather insights into future revenue and product monetization opportunities.
- Develop and maintain Product P&L models, working closely with FP&A, Product, and Technology partners.
- Evaluate Product/R&D investments and propose P&L optimizing actions, simplifying and articulating narratives for capital allocation strategies.
- Investigate and communicate variances between Actuals and Forecast, highlighting trends and potential risks and opportunities for Olo.
- Support annual planning, budget, and forecast cycles, focusing on Product planning.
- Be a subject matter expert on customer engagement dynamics, product feature ROI, and market/channel trends.
- Dig deep into and report on AWS spend, AWS Marketplace purchases, cost savings opportunities, software management, and capitalized R&D.
- Help evaluate new business partnerships and opportunities to improve profitability on all things Pay.
- Run ad-hoc analyses to drive business strategy, improve efficiency, and maximize ROI.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (CFA a plus) or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategic planning, investment banking, or related fields; FP&A function experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, model building, and Microsoft Office (Excel/Powerpoint) and/or Google Suite (Sheets/Slides).
