Job Title: Custodian

Rogers Motors in Lewiston, Idaho, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inspections of all offices, departments, and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors.
  • Gather and empty trash, and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of all cleaning equipment.
  • Communicate with Operations Manager for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Prior facilities cleaning experience preferred.
Working Conditions:

The Custodian works throughout all areas of the dealerships, both indoors and outdoors, to effectively clean the building. Will need to stand, walk, and bend to clean. Occasional use of ladder to clean. Cleaning and mopping floors requires physical stamina and repetitive motions. Must be able to lift 35 lbs. for garbage and to empty mop buckets.
