GreenLife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Pulmonologist to join our team. As a Pulmonologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating respiratory diseases and conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Consultation and Diagnosis: Meet with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns, and diagnose conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema.
- Treatment and Care: Develop and implement treatment plans to manage respiratory diseases and conditions, including the use of medications, therapies, and other interventions.
- Procedures and Tests: Perform various specialized procedures to acquire samples of the chest wall lining or the lungs for further analysis, and use and interpret pulmonological exams and tests to aid in diagnosis.
- Patient Education and Support: Provide patients with education and support to help them manage their respiratory conditions, including advice on lifestyle changes and self-care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients, and communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure understanding and compliance with treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Education and Certification: Must have an active NY State License and be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Experience: Must have relevant experience in pulmonology, including experience with diagnosis, treatment, and management of respiratory diseases and conditions.
